Perfect tea pot accessoryMay 22, 2009
My Old Dutch teapot gets very hot when the tea is steeping, so I purchased this cute little trivet to keep it on. It has rubber holders on the bottom so it doesn't slip and slide on the countertop. The shiny black color looks great with any color teapot and is very well made. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Must have teapot accessoryJul 07, 2010
We love our Old Dutch trivet. It works great with our teapot and many various pots and pans that are too hot to rest on our table. Highly recommended!

A great little trivet that I use with my cast iron serversMar 24, 2011
By Timothy B. Riley
I have been using several different cast iron servers lately and I really love them. They keep the food inside of them warm (even hot) for a long time, plus they look cool and they impress my guests. The only problem with them is that I have to set a pad or trivet under them to keep them from damaging my table. I tried a couple of different methods for protecting the surface under the cast iron serving plates but they all seem to distract from the effect that I was going for by using them in the first place. Then I remembered that I had a cast iron trivet under my Japanese tea pot that I use for decoration. It was perfect, it complimented my serving pans and protected my table. It only took me a few minutes to find the exact same trivet on Amazon. They are just what I needed and I plan on buying quite a few more.

It's just ok.Jun 06, 2013
By Christina G. Valdez
This trivet looks nice and the design matches my teapot. I set my teapot on it each time I make tea. But I wish I had gotten a tea warmer instead, since the tea seems to cool faster when using the trivet. The trivet also leaves black stains on the towel if you try to dry it while warm; I think it's not exactly made for use with very hot items. Another problem is that I have to set the teapot on it carefully so that it doesn't slide off the trivet. I'm disappointed that it's not a perfect match since both items are the same brand. I guess a smaller teapot would be a better fit for the raised center ring on this trivet.

Nice trivetDec 13, 2012
This trivet is perfect for what I was looking for. Good value for a nice price. The design imprint isn't quite as sharp or detailed as I thought it would be, but at a glance looks very nice. (It will be under the teapot anyway!)
